Linked Revit model - Structural Column Visibility

I have a structural Revit Model linked into my building. The plan details were created as detail callouts. For some reason... the structural columns from the linked model do not show in the detail view at medium or fine detail levels. Oddly, the do show up when I set the detail level to coarse.

If I remake the view as a floor plan callout, the columns show up at medium and fine detail, like they should.

Has anyone run into this issue before? I've checked all the visibility graphics settings for the view and the linked model... structural columns are definitely turned on. I'm at a loss.

i beleive this is a know issue. if you search the forum you will get comments that are about the same.

I believe you need to add a detail component to represent the column in the enlarge view.

thanks for the reply... been searching all over the forum - found lots of great information on detail vs. floor plan callouts. just haven't seen anything addressing this specifically.
