Strange Problem with Mouse when using Revit?

The mouse is a new MS Optical with a USB connection. This happens only when using Revit software only. It works great with other software, ADT, Word, etc... When working on a drawing, the mouse seams to hang up or grab onto each line it passes across. Therefore the motion of the mouse is real jerky. We have the same mouse on other computers using Revit without this problem. Has anyone else experienced this? What could be causing this?

It's a pre-highlighting problem. turn hardware acceleration completly off in your graphics properties. (right click desktop>properties>settings tab. Then click Advanced button, then Troubleshooting tab.)

You may also want to update the mouse drivers and see if that helps.
