Finish in walls

I am working on a residential project. I drew my exterior wall (cmu walls without finish), I dimensioned them accordingly using faces of core. Now, when I add an exterior finish to these walls (1/2" stucco), I noticed that all my dimensions change. I thought that since I used "faces of core" in my dimensions, these would be constant, regardless of the finish material.
So, what happen if, for example, after I drew a complete house, using 1" of siding as exterior finish on cmu, I want to change to 4" brick on the same cmu. Does this mean that I would have to fix all my dimensions?

Is the location line of the wall set to core face?

Yes. it is.

I found the solution, the line location was in the center, it should be in the exterior.
