Each Alignment in individual drawings or...
Should I create my alignments in the project all in 1 drawing or each alignment in its own individual .dwg....
Please advise...Recommendations...Pros/cons

I've heard recommendations both ways. Basically, it comes down to this. Will you be having more than one person modifying your alignments at the same time? If so, put each one in a seperate drawing. If not, I would put all similar alignments in the same drawing, such as roadway alignments in one drawing, utility alignments in another, etc.

This is the way we have been doing it.
Remember your profiles and alignments need to be in the same drawing for data shortcuts to work properly with profiles. (Unless they changed something I'm not aware of.)

Jeff,
I'm not 100% sure about data referencing but I know if you are using Vault, your profiles and alignments can be in seperate drawings. I'm in Kansas City right now so I can't verify if it is the same with data shortcuts or not but I would guess they are.
