View Full Version : Cannot access custom Tool Palettes

Using AutoCAD 2008 SP1.

Created custom tool palettes and groups, exported or saved to "standard" support folder on my pc and everything works fine. Copied all files and blocks to "standard" support network deployment location. Structure on network folder is identical to end users local support folder. Ran command (.cmd) file that copies new palettes, groups and blocks or updates existing files, on end users local drive. Checked end user files and folder structure and it looks good....BUT...end user still cannot see palettes or groups.

What am I missing?

groups dont transfer, so you will never see them, I get confused easily so I will just explain what we did.

Placed entire custom tool palette folder in the network path we desired, added the path for the files to everyones tools->options->tool palette location and everyone can see them without a problem. we share the palette from one location, not from anyones individual machine (makes it easier to update)
