So now, when working with a dwg, and if there are xref's in there, you get everything shown in the pull-down from the viewports tb. Is there a switch for this? There are even times when all I have is the scales from a xref rather than any of th edefault scales provided within the program. Am I not looking at this correctly? Thanks much.

SP1 addressed this. Any drawings "infected" prior to SP1 will have to be cleaned up, any future drawings will not bring the xref scale list in.

If that were only true! I still have occasional drawings which start the _XREF circle. They were even started after SP1 was installed.

Same as what the guy said above and we are beoynd the SP1 patch. Looks like what you see in the attachment. Is there some kind of variable or something to exclude xref scales? Kind of like when dealing with layer filters you can tell it to show xref layer filters or not.

I have been having the same issues. The only answer I recieved was to edit the scale list in the drawing. (SCALELISTEDIT) I found that if you don't edit the list in the drawing being referenced it will keep coming back.

I am having the same problem so I type in (SCALELISTEDIT) and I am able to delete all the extra scales. The problem that I am having is that when I save and close then reopen all the xref scales are back. does anyone know how to delete these scales forever.
