View Range and Area Plans

In an Area Plan with Colored Areas set to foreground or background and the view depth is set to a lower level. I have noticed that when a color scheme is applied to the area the whole area shows everything below that floor like a wire frame view. It's almost like it is turning off the floors (with out telling you) like it did in older versions. Anyone else having the same problem? I am using the lateset update? I guess i will have to use plan regions.

With color fills, floors are set as 'transparent'. They don't even get shadows. Not what we all want, but what our friends at Autodesk gave us.
