The possibility to change a floor in a section. Many times you have to change the floor in a section, and than you've to switch with the floorplan and back again. This happened many times.

So when there are shape handles on a floor in a section/detail, it's quite simple to handle with that

I fear adding a shape handle to floors would cause more harm than good. How often have you accidentally dragged something?

Have you considered instead modeling with both a plan and section view open? I can understand why you might need to move an edge of deck in section. Here is an alternative for you:

1) Edit floor
2) Select the sketch line in plan (you could actually even select it in section)
3) Move the line in section
4) Finish the floor

Floors are designed to move with walls, so I imagine the shape handles would fight with the parametrics.

You can edit in section, just takes a little zen tio do it. Edit the floor - let it throw you into whatever plans Revit wants. Close the window. Now you'll be right back to where you were. Window the line which is move viewed as a point you really can't see. Use the move tool and you'll find you can snap to the end of the line and move it where you like in the wall. It would be nice if this were simpler, but it is possible to make corrections using a sectional view.
