I thought matchlines were model lines and visible in all views. It appears they are special type of model line that is only visible in plan views. I did draw one in elevation and it was only visible on that view. What's the point of this commnad if I have to draw a model line on top of so I can see it in my elevation views?

i dont think that a match line is like a reference plane. you could have match lines on plans that dont relate to match line on the elevations. The are also able to span across multiple levels so that you have the match line in the space plan space.

I can understand what you want the line to do. the match line should be much more like a section line, as you can jog it and it is visible in plan and elevation. maybe you should add this to the wish list?

Yes, I agree that you can span the matchlines to multiple levels. But what is confusing me and can also potentially cumbersome is that I cannot put a text to refer the viewer to the next sheet. I have mulitple buildings with that are multilevel. Is there a parametric options to set this up. Has anyone tried?

Thanks
