copy/monitor openings

I am copy monitoring openings in concrete tilt-walls that were created in a window family, but they are copying into my model as a different size & shape. I had the architect send me his window families & deleted my openings & placed the windows in my walls to create the new openings at the correct size & shape. Is there any way to get around this?

Do you mean the architect's openings are wrong? Because when you copy monitor the walls and set the view to structural you only get the openings.
