I have a sloped ceiling. Am attaching a ceiling hosted light fixture at 8 feet above F.F. consistent regardless of ceiling slope. Meaning...Wherever I attach my light fixture, I must maintain a consistent height of 8'.
Possible? If not, then a decent walk-around will be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance guys!!

...make it floor hosted rather than ceiling hosted.

Don't make it hosted at all. Then it will use a level as its offset point. However you will have to manually connect any pendants or hangers to the ceiling.
If you make if ceiling hosted and build the slope into the family you can use the ceiling to attach it and set a parameter for the offsets. Probably more work though, just another option
