stair railing angled baluster termination

I have a stair railing where I want the start post to have a base that terminates at the bottom of the stair, but a top that terminates at what would be the extension of the angled railing.

From other posts, I've started to figure out how to make the angled post/baluster, but I don't know how to get the railing components to attach.
Any ideas?

I don't think there's a way to get the rails to extend to your angled post.

One way to get the same effect is to build the rail extensions in the baluster family. The 'rails' won't update when you change the rail spacing in the railing family, and you may get join lines where the rails join up, but you should get a reasonable result.
