Revit Stairs - How to make solid balusters?

How can i model a family of balusters so that it looks like a small wall around the stair... i know a few workarounds ... but can i parametrically tie this as a baluster to work on all stairs?

The easiest way is to create a railing profile that is the height of the 'wall'.
The way I like to explain it when describing railings to users is that anything that is swept along the path of the railing sketch is a railing. Anything that is placed at regular intervals along that path, or at start and end points, is a baluster.

Is there a way to do this when using monolithic stairs? Basically i am trying to create a stair with a smooth underside that looks like it has a 6" wall as a railing. I found a way in a previous post to create a smooth underside by changing one stringer to open and making it the width of the stair but then when I follow your advice for the solid railing I get a wall that does not follow the treads and risers.
