I'm working on a building that has a tapering profile as it moves vertically; thus, every floor plate is slightly different. I'm attempting to create an accurate area schedule, which means creating area plans for every floor, but I've run into a problem - i can't snap my area lines to the exterior walls, which are composed of a curtain system, derived from a mass.
That leaves me to try and draw by hand (zooming in tediously) all the area boundary lines, and this is taking more time than I have to spend on it. Any ideas of what I can do? I've attached an image of one of the floors, which shows the exterior curtain system enclosure that I need to mark to. Also, there's a 3d image of the building, so you get an idea of how the mass was needed to create that curtain system.
Thanks for your help.
