I am trying to get a delta symbol (the capital letter for delta) to use in text. I am labeling curves and need to have a delta label in front of the text string.
If I was using a plus/ minus sign I could use the control code %%p. I am not familiar with unicodes, although I believe they can do the same thing.
Presently I am drawing a triangle and then placing it in front of the text, it would be much simplier to have it show up as part of the text.
Thanks

The code \U+0394 will get you capital Delta and \U+03B4 will get you lowercase Delta.

Also see here (http://www.xanadu.cz/en/download.asp?file=Unicode) for a dwg file containing a table of all frequently used unicode characters.

I use MText and then copy the symbols I need from the Windows Character Map. This depends on the font.
If you're using Land Desktop, it's possible to have the Delta symbol: 'Δ' appear in the curve labels.

If you're using MText you could also just right-click while in the edit box, select from the pop-up menu Symbol-->Delta. This way doesn't require you to select the correct font. Unfortunately this doesn't work for normal single line Text.

Thank you, I usually use single line text, not for any reason other than habbit. Converting to mtext will make this much easier.
