I might be missing something very obvious. But I can't figure this out and have been unable to find anything on AUGI.

I just noticed an option in the floor type where you have a pull down menu for the function. (See attached image.)

Well when I select on structural deck I get the great statement from Revit saying "Deck profile is not loaded. To create a structural deck load deck profile first."

I guess my question is, where do I get this deck profile from? I have been unable to find it. And if I have to create it, I don't know where to start.

Am I missing something? Please help.

you can't get a deck profile in revit arch. you can in revit struct. you will have to use a detail component in detail views, unless you link a struct model into the arch model, but that is a different topic.

What happens if you copy/paste a floor from Struc. into Arch? Does the deck profile copy or does it vanish?

i dont have much experience but going backwards from arch to struct i know there are some items that once inserted they work, but can't be inserted in the base program.

would be interresting to try and see what happens.

You can't copy/paste between sessions but you can open your arch file in structure and simply check the Structural instance parameter in the floor and magically it will appear when you open it in architecture

That worked wonderfully. Thank you for the help.

I have this floor sample that was created using Revit Structure, I think. Usually, I simple open it, copy and then paste on the project I'm working on and the deck profile works great.
