Sometimes when someone on my team prints directly from Revit, the line weights come out light, very light... Then when i print the same page for them it usually prints as expected. I am afraid this is a driver issue or a Revit quirk... it has nothing to do with the user input as the prints usually print okay most of the time.
Is this happening to anyone else.?? this was happening in the 9.1 version as well. We are using Xerox large format devices. Can it be that some users do not close and reopen Revit regularly..? memory issues..?

Check to see if you are both using the same printer driver?
This is just one of many causes that this occur.

We have the same problem, but it happens only when you change the drawing to an electrical discipline.
The problem appears to mostly go away though if we use the HP Color Plotter.
Any thoughts?

weird... i will double check the drivers but i do feel it is random, because it happens unpredictably and most of the time a Reboot of Revit will remedy the issue...
Maybe a flaky driver..? I best go find myself a driver update.

i noticed that sometimes if you have a viewport active on the sheet and you print all the other views print light, excpet for the view that you are in.
Could this be the case?
