I consult for a residential home builder who recently merged with another company.
Now the two drafting departments are trying to figure out a software platform to use, that will fit the best.
Softplan is the CAD program used by the other home builder.
ADT is the CAD program they use (They are not thrilled with it so are open minded to a change), and are very interested in Revit.

My question:
Has anybody had experience with both programs they could give a fair comparison between Revit and Softplan?

Thanks!!

This thread is currently active on the alt.cad.revit newsgroup.

Note: that was not meant to keep people from talking about it here, but rather to avoid repetition of posts. Most people here also follow the ng, so if you want to see what has been said or if you are also considering Softplan and/or Revit, check out the ng too!

I put it in both spots hoping to get as much exposure to my question as possible. :)
