Is it possible to create a room finish schedule that also contains the ceiling type in the room(I know its a choice of the room tag, but its not actually linked currently to the real ceiling type that is placed.)

yes, as far as I can tell there us no way to pick up finishes from the actaul floor,wall,ceiling,base etc. These are fields in the room name tag that are used to poulate the finish schedules supplied with Revit. I notice that the elevation tags are smart enough to orient themselves automatically to an adjacent wall, seems like it shouldn't be a problem to pick up the finish on that wall and stick it in a schedule, however this could get problematic when a wall has more than one finish. We have traditionally handeled that with a wall finish tag, not sure how to deal with this isue yet
