How to make a Section box not display?

There doesnt seem to be a visibility setting for "section box"
if I uncheck it in view settings of course the sectioning goes away.
can anyone tell me how to turn of display of the wire frame section box?

I'm pretty sure you can't right now. would be good for the wishlist though...

Actually I discovered that if " crop region visible" is unchecked, then the section box does not display
