Hello!sorry about my english..brazilian...
I want to know how can I apply an transparent material in some surface. In Autocad2006 it was very easy..but in 2008 I cant do it...I want to render with an transparent material and use an white background(it always black). One box inside another box...and the bigger box tranparent....

You can create your own transparent material from the Materials palette window using default template, e.g. Glass Clear, Glass Traslucent, or, adjust the Opacity / Translucency. You can also use the Materials from the tool palette window (provided you checked the Materials option during the installation).

To apply material to only a particular surface on a 3D object, hold the CTRL key and select. To cycle the selections available, hold CTRL key and SHIFT + Space bar to toggle.
