Revit MEP Electrical Content Creation

Hi There,

I'm having some issues. I have found information on how to bring in my AutoCAD MEP content into a Revit MEP family. The problem is that I cannot figure out how to get the 2D component to scale up/down based on the scale of the drawing. Anyone know how to do this?

Hi, from memory is'nt the 2D element anotation, maybe its some annotation setting in your element properties.

When creating this electrical symbology, you need to create it as an generic annotation. This way it will scale with the drawing scale. (Use the generic annotation family template Autodesk provides with Revit)

Then, that generic annotation symbol needs to be loaded into the model family.(this is called a nested family). Take a look at the recpticale that Autodesk provides and reverse engineer it. Its a easy procedure, after you understand the steps.
