I'm trying to import a dwg file into an interior elevation view and nothing happens. The first time I tried it I got a warning saying some or all of the dta may not be visible check the visibilty graphics etc. So I turned off the cut plane and tried again. The command was executed and nothing showed up on the screen. I check the VG and on the Imported tabs the drawing name & layers showed up I just can't see it to overlay it properly. I can insert it into a drafting view and that's not what I want. Any help?

You have to check in plan where the line defining the elevation is. To do so, just click at the elevation head symbol. Usually when importing a dwg into an interior elevation view using center to center, it will put the dwg behind the elevation line. If that's the case, just move that line to a position before the imported dwg "plane".
