deleting a Graded Region

i mistakingly created a graded region in an Add-Alt phase in my project. now, my topo surface and related pads are messed up. i cant delete the new grading region, as it delets my phase 1 pads as well. it is too late to go back and 'undo'. Is there a way to scrap a graded region. I have tried to edit the region and delete the points that i added (i was grading in a ramp), but that just modifies the graded region, and messes up my model more.

Be sure your phase filter for the view is set to "show all"

Delete the new topo containing the graded region.

Underneath you should see the previous surface showing with the demolished graphic style.

Select the surface, go to propertes, then to the 'Phase demolished" parameter and change it to "none".
