Post Framing Nested Family Trouble

I am having some trouble with making a Door and Window Framing Nested Family. I have I good idea on how to put this together and with a little rebuild on the typical wood structural column I have the ability to nest it in to a wall and have it Flex and schedule as individual posts, beam, trim post and hardware….It works Great and is going to save me a lot of time with are wood and steel framing plans. BUT……. The Post (or Columns) is showing at a lower level. I have all of the parameters set higher. My view cut plan is lower. And if you go into a section cut the framing is working and not extending down in to lower levels. But when you go back to the framing plan of the lower level it shows up. Now I have to pick each window or door framing and turn them of one at a time and this is now taking a lot of time. I have even messed with the visibly setting for the column it self. Is there a setting I should know about I have spent a few day of my life trying to figurer out how to get the nested columns from above to turn off below……. Any ideas.
