reference view matchline issue

i have reviewed this and still having an issue. I am starting to place dependent views on sheets and i am creating new reference views on sheets. I have a matchline and a little overlap for the adjacent views....i place the new refernce view and one of the views seems to be dominant (it is causing both views to be labeled the same number)

i even tried it without the overlap with the same result

When you have the view reference placed, you can select the "target view". This will determine what the tag will reference. See attached image. Select the dependent view that you want to have referenced independantly for the tags on each side of the matchline.
