Detail Components Disappear in cropped view

Can someone please help me. I have a detail component of Gyp. Bd. that I am trying to insert into a door section. It is a Gyp. Bd. section with grips to adjust the length. If I draw with the view not cropped, it works great. As soon as I crop the view, it disappears. Only the adjustable components disappear. The fixed detail components look fine when cropped.

Any ideas or solutions????

Is your detail component going outside the annotation crop box? If there is anything associated with that detail that goes past the annotation crop it will dissapear.
