Moving Tag with Leader causes crash

I am working on a Reflected Ceiling Plan view. The Ceiling Tags were in valid positions until the engineers placed their lights and diffusers. Some of the rooms are small so my tag will now have to be placed outside of the room. I select the tag, and select the Leader option. Then I attempt to move the tag and get a message that a fatal error has occurred. Is this a bug or is something else going on? I'm using Revit Architecture 2008 SP2.

I've run into this with other tags. The way I get around it is you turn off the leader, then move the tag to where you want it & then turn the leader back on again.
