I have a 350,000 SF apartment rental on west 30th street NYC. We are dialing our facade in to meet LEED and NYSERDA requirements. In short we need to have 40% vision glass or less.

1. Mullions do not include areas. Any work-arounds?
2. We have windows inserted into our curtain wall panels. This requires a window schedule in addition to a panel schedule. For the window schedule we have used a calculated area (Height x Width).
3. We have core walls which are not CW hosts so we have a wall schedule.
This is three schedules that we have to poke through and coordinate with an excell doc. I feel like I'm doing something wrong here.

We're in the middle of figuring this out for the first time. Does anyone have any experience doing this? We're at a point where we can do some rebuilding. I'd like to get every component into one schedule with a listed area, so every time we tweek spandrels we don't spend a couple hours redoing our take off. Any advice would be appreciated.

Have you considered doing a material take off with a formula to get your square footage?
