Dimension style

Does anyone know how to dimension to only one of the componets in a wall? I want to dimension to the CMU or base line, not to the outside of the stucco and gypsum board that is on the wall object. I know how to change this with dim point attach, but the point does not update if the wall moves. I was hoping for a change in the style, so when the wall moves the dimension string updates with it.

You can go to the wall style>components and move the face of your desired wall component to the baseline.
