Does revit embed fonts?

I opened a revit file from a consultant and they used some non-standard font on the cover sheet. The font opened and rendered fine on my machine even though I dont have it. If it does embed fonts how do you manage them? Can it embed a licensed version of helvetica?

Maybe the answer is no to all of these?

No it does not embed fonts. When we switched to our current font our office uses, every machine would display the font as Arial until I loaded the font onto each machine in the office.

If you are using a script for deploiement you can add the font to it
