What's with all the xref scales propagating in my scale lists?
See attached.
How do I get rid of it and keep it from happening?

Do you have Service Pack 1 installed? This was a problem before the patch came out caused by the referencing between files. After patching your AutoCAD installation, you should notice this much, much less.

Right. After SP1, only the scales in direct child xrefs (not grandchildren) will be imported.

But this will not clean up existing drawings. So you still need to start at the lowest level xref drawing and work your way up to the parent - resetting the scale list each time.

There have been several posts on this subject in the forums. you may want to search for those.
Several people have been using the accaddoc.lsp to reset the scales every time a drawing is opened.
