I have a shadow study that looks fine in Revit but when printed to a PDF the shadows are cut off. I am using the Advanced Model Graphics on a site plan.

The buildings are linked into the site plan. Shadows are cast into a topo surface.

I have found that the shadows are cut off to the overall extent of the linked model.

Twos file are attached. They are both Print Screen clips of the Revit Screen and the PDF screen.

Has anyone had this trouble

I'm using 2008 - Build 20070607_1700

try checking the raster printing option instead of vector when printing to pdf.

We've had a similar problem but still no joy, see the attached PDF and jpeg (jpeg is what you actually see on the screen) - have posted a support request through our support agents & Autodesk......awaiting responses...

We had a similar problem with the poche / filled area of a toposurface in section not appearing in PDF prints. Setting it to raster resolved the issue though.
