Help, Is it possible to display wall cut patterns in plan, to be aligned with the angle of the wall? By default, Revit uses a drafting pattern that seams to have a common alignment to the entire plan, regardless of wall angle; 90d, 45d, 30d, etc.

Our plan has walls at 40d that display improperly ( hall hatch/pattern not showing perp. to wall). Can this be adjusted? I’ve looked everywhere I can think of.

In the partial plan attached, the brick walls at 90d & 180d appear fine, but the others...

Any help is appreciated.

Go to Settings... Fill Patterns
Select a drafting pattern and EDIT
Change the Orientation in Host Layers parameter to "Align with Element".

yes, in the materials dialog box, first click to edit the Cut Pattern. then in the Fill Pattern dialog box, Click to edit the appropriate pattern. In the Modify Pattern Properties dialog, choose to Align with Element rather than Orient to View.
