drag a dialog box and the background doesn't refresh

In our company we all seem to have this issue:

When you drag a dialog box over the drawing area in revit structures the dialog box trails behind it like and evil beast until you let the drag go. - anyone know WHY? and HOW can you fix it? see attached file for a screen shot


NOTE:
I upgraded the video card yesterday to a monster 2gb open gl one. Still same problem. I have windows XP pro service pack 2, 2gb rams
So we don't think it is hardware.

I believe you need to change a windows setting under control panel --->Display --->Appearance--->Effects ---> Then make sure "show window contents while dragging" is not checked.
