Pads and Future Phases

Ok, a client just decided to cut a building into phases that was not phased before. Hence, the building footprint is modified in later phases. For this, I put one pad in the new construction phase, and another part of it in the future phase. The problem is that the pad which doesn't show up until the future phase still seems to be cutting the topo in the previous phases. Anyone know why this is or how to fix it?

what phase is your topo in? Sounds like its in 'new construction' when it should be in 'exisitng'.

topo is created in existing phase and never demolished. pads are created in new construction and future phases and never demolished.
