This is strange. I have a curtain wall that contains 12" Concrete walls. If I have the view set to Coordination all the walls show up. When I set it to Structural they all go away except this one. Some how I've enabled Analytical Model mode in it. They are all set to bearing (this is greyed out). I can't explain it but would love to enable Analytical mode in the others so I can show them in the Structural View.

1.jpg (left jpg)= Panel within a Curtain wall showing Analytical Model option, View is set to Structural.
2.jpg (right jpg)= Same view, view is set to Coordination if you look closely at the top of the wall you can see the Analytical lines in that embeded wall.

Well I framed some precast panels into the curtain walls and got a message asking if id like to make them bearing. I said yes and now half of them are showing up in my structural. Somehow I triggered them. Now wheres the switch or do I just frame a beam into each one once.

Im missing something basic here.

what I did and it seemed to work was:
If you go to your element properties window, under identity data, schedule as: it says panel change that to coordination i get something like structural combined. hopefully that will work. good luck

I'll try that next time. I ended up dragging a precast panel into each wall and selecting the "make bearing" option in the warning dialog. Once I got one located correctly I was able to array it 'activating' the bearing option.

What a pain.
