Extra Landing I think!

I hope someone can tell me what 's wrong with this stair( see attached ). If i try to make another stair using the same type, then i dont have that extra step. How does that step occur and how do I get rid of it?

I haven't done many stairs but I seem to remember a landing offset or something like that in the stair properties.

Thanks...but i did try changing all the available properties, but no result!! I deleted the stair and put another one in place...

With Revit, I think that is sometimes the best resolution.
