managed to close a job file without saving. is there an "autosave file" like in autocad?

If you didn't save at all, go to C:program files/RAC 2008/Journals, select the file and drag it onto your revit icon, it will redo all the commands you did assuming you have NOT successfully saved since opening revit that session.
