Detail Component Failure

I have a project that will not allow me to utilize the Detail Components function in any view. Detail Component button has no response even when tried on another PC...Everything else within the Drafting tab works fine in the model.

Fortunately, i have other Detail Components already in this project. B/c as soon as i select one of those DC's and say Create Similar, the functionality returns...

Anyone know what might have happened here...???

Sounds like Revit is not able to locate Detail Components library:
Check to see where Revit is pointed to access Detail Components library--
Settings/Options/File lLocations/Library--browse to proper location on server.
