I want to revise the size of the box around the room number in the room number tag. I can't find this anywhere in the family or project. There is no linework for the box and the label is same as SF and Volume. I'm guessing that the label parameter "room" must have a way to tell it to box around it but not seeing anything.

When you open the family try checking visibility and graphics to make sure all the annotation categories are turned on in the family editor

Well I'd have to call this a bug - the only thing not checked in visiblity was "show temp. dims" By selecting that the box appeared. Why???? Makes me cry!!!!!
Thank you for spurring me on to try the unexpected.

Upload the rfa file & someone can dig into it.
Is this an OOTB (Autodesk) familiy, something downloaded from Revit CIty, or something made in-house?

I just checked the Revit OOTB room tag. When I first opened it, there was no box visible around the number. I had to turn on annotation categories in the view to see the box. The lines for the box are controlled by the Room Tags annotation category.

I came across this a while back. I came to the conclusion that there is a person in the family creation department at Autodesk with a sadistic sense of humour.

Thanks! I knew they had to be in there somewhere!
