Family not Saving?

The Client I am currently working for wants the door swings to be at 45 deg. rather than the default 90 deg. swing angle. I clicked on the door and hit the "Edit Family" button. I updated the "symbolic" lines to get the correct angle, then hit the "Load into Project" button. This updated the doors in my project. But when i went to save the RFA file it would not let me override the file. Why will it not let me update the Family?

Perhaps the file is "read only" in your network/system--check file properties and uncheck "read only"and try saving again?

tried save as for the family file?

It was the "Read Only"
