We have recently installed a Lanier LW324 plotter/scanner in our office, and it has caused Revit to hang up whenever the new plotter is chosen in the print dialog. Just choosing the Lanier plotter in the pull down menu causes Revit to stop responding for 2-3 minutes before it will allow you to pick on another button in the print dialog, then it hangs again for another few minutes, then pick another button and wait a while, etc. etc. It eventually does come out, and when printing starts it is at normal speed. Choosing any of the other printers/plotters does not cause this problem.
Has anyone else seen this sort of thing? We have Revit installed on a brand new Dell Optiplex 745, 4GB memory.
