Model fill patterns won't behave

I am having difficulty with my fill patterns on sloped surfaces can anyone give any suggestions how to do this or what I am doing wrong.

You can select a line from the fill and just rotate it.

Nope won't work in a family file, but will work in a rvt file

May be I don't understand what exactly is your problem, because every Model pattern can be rotated.

I think once a family is put into a project you can't rotate its fill pattern.
