I just had my profile erased due to some speed problems and know I can't follow back to any previously read threads. I also get a huge number of replies to my search patterns for this problem. Hope you can help.

Recently I bumped into a thread that showed where to turn off the dim style overrides from automatically happening. For example, when you start dimensioning and the dims are wrong so you go into dim style to find it has automatically added an override (below the current dim style). There is a button that turns the automatic feature off. I read it recently but didn't write it down. Could someone please direct me to the correct thread or tell me where this button is?

Thanks in advance.

FYI

I finally found the answer but in a different post. Her is the link

Look in the lower left corner of your screen for the circle and arrow. Pick it then drawing setup. uncheck the override button.

There was a post and a link to an Autodesk sit that might have explained why they do this but it doesn't work anymore. If anyone has an explanation i would be curious.
