Can't point to a press release but blog post here:

has this news. Free Impression with subscription. Nice.

It says that "AutoCAD 2009 subscription customers" will get the free Impression. It might be nice if that also includes AutoCAD Revit Suite subscription customers?

I don't have access to the press release but I have it on good authority that it does apply to Revit Suite Subscription customers.

Nice! I'm desperate to get more SketchUp-like schematic design drawings. I've done the whole importing into SU thing, but it's a lot of messing around re-assigning materials, etc. every single time. I wonder if anyone ever got a good Revit > Impression workflow going?

great news, Impression is something we are looking at using in the future.

is this only free for new customers buying 2009 software, or for people already on subscription?

It appears that it will be available to anyone that has AutoCAD Revit Architecture Suite on subscription. It will be made available with the next release of Impression in the spring. More "official" info here:
