Our AutoCAD standard is to always show CMU with a cross hatch. Even when its below the current cut.

Revit doesn't show the cross hatch on the roof plan because its not cut. I created a filter looking for Walls, that contain "Masonry" in the name and manually applied a fill pattern. The only problem with this is that its really dark. I want the fill pattern lighter.

Thoughts? Or a better way to do it?

Linked below on the left is a actual cut, the right is a filter manual override. The lineweight isn't controllable on the right.

i would think that that filter you can control the line thickness of the surface filled region. the only other way i could see to do this is paint the top of the walls with the material, but this could take awhile if you had lots of walls. i can also think of a few othere work arounds but i think filters is the way to go.
