Sections Visibility

Is it possible to have a section not show up in all views- by default. I want to draw sections, have them placed on sheets, but not show up on any other drawings. Is there a way to do this globally? Right now, I am turning it off in every view that it shows up- which is getting tedious.

by default the section will show unless the do not show at coarser scale is being used. but this only helps with say wall sections showing on overall plans.

one work around that could work but could cause some issues would be to have the coarser scale set to 3". this would turn it off in all views (excpet 3" scale views) then draw a new section line that references the detail (reference other view). this would work, but if you move the section line, you would need to "dummy line" too. an then the section line would only be visible in the view that you placed it in.
