For some reason some wall section markers that I cut do not show on my elevations. Some do, but not all. I cannot seem to figure out the problem

I have searched through its properties and cannot find a solution on why this wall section is so particular

Pick the section and look at the Hide at scales coarser than property. (just below the Advanced Model Graphcis tab)

I'm guessing the reason for the hit and miss behaviour is that Revit will create Building Sections at the same scale as the plan they were placed in and Wall Sections will be bumped up to the next highest scale.

Or it could be that some sections were created in a larger-scale view than some of the other ones.

While wall sections are by default created at the next higher scale, they are still visible in the plan in which they were created. And assuming that elevations and plans are both the same scale (either 1/8" or 1/4" usually) then they should all be visible in elevation.

However if you have an overall plan at 1/8" scale and maybe some enlarged plan areas at 1/4", you could run into that issue if you created a section in the 1/4" plan, but your elevations are 1/8" scale. When you create a section, the Hide at Scales Coarser Than property is defaulted to the scale of the particular view in which the section was created.

Are they perpendicular to the view?

I just did a new section marker right next to the malfunctioning one and this one worked. It shows correctly on the elevations. I have already tried each of the suggestions in the replies. "Hide scales coarser than" was not the issue.

My plans and elevations are at 1/8" scale and my wall sections are at 1/4"

oH...JUST FIGURED IT OUT...DHURTBHISE...YOU ARE CORRECT...HOW CAN I MAKE THE SECTION MARKER PERPENDICULAR?

.DHURTBHISE that sounds like my name ;-)
you can simply draw a piece of wall perpendicular to your grid and then create a new elevation then. Then delete the wall.
Note that if all the grids are not perpendicular to the view they wont show

How can I just modify my existing section marker to be perpendicular? I do not want start over again.

Section can be rotated. Just use the rotate tool
