Hello,
I am finishing a floor plan, trying to cut thru the floor slab for a vehicular ramp below.
First problem - the vertical opening command stop working.

Second problem: I am placing components in the plan and I am getting a Warning: None of the created elements are visible in floor plan: Level 2/ Parking view.
You may want to check the active view, its parameters and visibility settings, as well as any plan regions & their settings.

I would appreicate any comments, or help to get my drawing going again.

Sounds like the stuff you are placing is landing outside your view range. Go to view properties & check your view range settings...

As stupid as it might sound, does the element's category you are trying to place is turn on?

Thanks for your help guys. First I should say that I am newbie to Revit.

I looked into both suggestions and discovered that the parking element was turned off. Now I can continue.

Sometime the solution is right there. Like Shaun says, the KISS rule, Keep It Simple
